World Blood Donor Day 2024
On June 14, 2024, Rayburn College commemorated World Blood Donor Day with the theme “20 years of celebrating giving: thank you blood donors!” This significant event was jointly organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Rayburn College. The celebration aimed to honor and thank the selfless individuals who have contributed to saving lives through blood donation over the past two decades.
The participation of students, faculty, and community members was commendable, reflecting a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity. The event successfully highlighted the critical role of blood donors in healthcare and encouraged a new generation to participate in this noble cause.
The NSS and NCC units of Rayburn College expressed their gratitude to all participants and pledged to continue promoting the importance of blood donation in the community.
