The “Versatile Club’ is a student’s club at Rayburn College with its theme “One For All, All For One.” It was named `versatile’ to engage and lead the student community from the college to explore extra-curricular activities, which would further enact and enhance the student’s academic knowledge.

‘The Versatile Club’ was founded with the approval of the Principal of the College on March 17, 2022. By undertaking pro-academic activities, the Club seeks to set a standard for the students to elevate and strongly believes that it will facilitate the students to explore and expose their innate talents and prepare to take part in different competitions or activities. The Club aims to bring names and laurels to the College.

Objectives of the Club:
1. Allow students to cultivate interest in different areas
2. Rejuvenate the relevance of culture in the student’s lives
3. Inculcate the spirit of Teamwork
4. Aid the students in gaining knowledge, skills, and experience in leadership, communication, presentation, and public speaking.

Composition of the Club:

‘The Versatile Club’ is an inclusive students’ club in the College. It has Advisors who are drawn from the faculty members of the Department of Political Science and Supervisors from all Heads of Departments. The Club looks forward to working with everyone in the College to promote pro-academic activities.

Activities of the Versatile Club:

Since its inception, the Versatile Club has carried out lots of activities within and outside the College Campus for the promotion of pro-academic activities in the College. Some of the club’s activities are highlighted below-

1. One Day Basketball Tournament (UG/PG): The Club conducted “The One Day Basketball Tournament (UG/PG)” on April 9, 2022, at the College premises. Various teams from different semesters in the College have participated in the tournament.
2. 20 Kilometers CYCLE RACE: The Club conducted a 20 Kilometers Cycle Race on the 30th of April 2022 with the aim to promote students to use cycles for a more eco-friendly and convenient way of transport. In this program, twenty-two(22) students from the college participated.
