The second Lecture Series on Women’s Reproductive Health

Women Development Cell, Rayburn College successfully organized a lecture series on Women’s Reproductive Health, attended by 91 female students from the 4th semester. The event aimed to create awareness, educate and empower women on key issues surrounding reproductive health. It also aims to provide comprehensive and accessible information about women’s reproductive health, dispel common myths, and empower students with knowledge to make informed decisions about their bodies.

Dr. Jire L Pudaite, DNO, Child Health and RKSK,Resource Person, began with a detailed explanation of the female reproductive anatomy and physiology. She emphasized the importance of understanding one’s own body as the first step toward better health. The discussions also covers topics like menstrual health, family planning and contraception, fertility, sexual health and STIs, and reproductive rights.

The event concluded with the distribution of free sanitary pads to the participants, promoting health and hygiene.

Ms. Cyndi Lalhmingmawi expressed gratitude to the resource person, participants, and organizers.
