The 78th Independence Day Celebration

On the 15th of August 2024, Rayburn College Autonomous, Gangpimual, marked the 78th Independence Day with a grand celebration. The event commenced at 6:30 AM. The Principal’s arrival and inspection of the Parade Contingent, setting a disciplined tone for the proceedings.

The event began promptly with a spectacular March Past by the NCC Cadets of Rayburn College Autonomous showcasing the coordination and discipline. This was followed by an inspiring address by Dr. Kh. Thianminlian Vaiphei, Vice Principal, Rayburn College (Autonomous) reflecting on the significance of the day and the progress the nation has made since independence.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Emmanuel Laneimawi Hmar, CTO-NCC (Air Wing), acknowledging the efforts of all participants and organizers. Attendees were then treated to light refreshments, bringing the event to a close on a pleasant note.

The celebration was a fitting tribute to the nation’s Independence, fostering a sense of patriotism and unity among all present.
