National Education Day 2023

Every year, 11^th November is observed as National Education Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister in independent India. The theme for the year 2023 is “To invest in people, prioritize education”.

To commemorate this day, the Department of Sociology and IQAC of Rayburn College organized Sketching Competition on the theme “Transforming Society through Education in Southern Manipur”.

Many students participated in the competition, and the judges were Sir Paukhankhual Tonsing, and Sir Kamkholal Sitlhou.

The winners of the said Competition:

1^st – Cleven Hmar, II^nd Sem, Maths

2^nd – Sutlalson, V^th Sem, Zoology

3^rd – Sarah Siamthianhoih, V^th Sem, English

The event ended with light refreshments.
