Dr.Lal Dena, is a retired professor from department of history, Manipur University and former Vice Chancellor, Sangai International University, Manipur (SIUM); Senior Fellow (ICSSR); former Fellow (Korea Foundation), Seoul, South Korea; visiting professor (Dibrugarh University). He had visited foreign countries like France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, South Korea, Switzerland, and United Kingdom on academic events. He also produced 7 M.Phils and 15 Ph.Ds; former president of North East India History Association (NEIHA), former member of Linguistic Committee (Aerodrome), Govt.of India.
