About the Department

The Department of Mathematics at Rayburn College was established in the year 2020 and follows the New Education Policy 2020, offering a robust curriculum designed to meet the academic and professional needs of students. Courses such as Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, MATLAB, LaTeX, C Programming and Advanced Calculus are among the key subjects aimed at providing a solid foundation in both theoretical and applied mathematics. The department’s teaching and research materials are continuously updated to align with the latest academic standards and can be utilized for preparing for various All India level competitive examinations like CSIR-UGC NET, UPSC Mains (Mathematics), IIT JAM, and others.

The department also offers access to the institutions’ NIELET computer centre, enhancing students’ computational skills, which are vital in today’s technology-driven world. The Department is dedicated to fostering an environment of academic excellence and holistic development, preparing students to thrive in their future careers and contribute meaningfully to society. Faculty members are committed to providing personalized support to students, extending academic assistance even beyond regular class hours.
