World Poetry Day

Invited Guests: Hosea Khawbung, George Mate, Annie Boichong

The World Poetry Day is observed on 21^st March of every year, as declared by UNESCO in 1999. However, due to some unavoidable constraints, the department observed the day on the 4^th of April 2024 in the college. The event was held with poetry readings from the invited guests, all eminent poets in their own right. It was a lively and engaging session where students, all budding poets in the making had lots of queries. An autograph and photo session ensued. The event was hosted by Miss Livia Tinglianhoi and felicitation was conducted by Dr. Siambiakmawi, the head of department. The event ended with light refreshments.
