Greetings and Chibai!

Nestled at the heart of Lamka town in Manipur’s Churachandpur district - which sees the intersection of two important roads, namely Tedim road which connects the region to Tedim town in Myanmar’s Chin State, and Tipaimukh road which connects it to Mizoram - and located at a distance of only 62kms from Imphal, is our relatively ‘young’ college which came into existence in the year 2003. Surrounded by natural beauty with untapped resources and populated by marginalized and under-served communities with immense potential, our aspiration, ever since the inception of the college, has been to build capacities and create opportunities to nurture competent professionals and socially responsible citizens with a heart of service and responsibility.

Our endeavour through the years have been to evolve and offer a holistic and multidisciplinary education that trains the emotional, social and the physical as much as the intellect. The holistic education that we offer seeks to weave academics, co-curricular and extension activities, sports education and value-based learning together for the all-round whole-person development of the students. The eco-system of the campus, its academic facilities and its outreach and extension services all bear testimony to this vision.

Despite the hardships and unique lived-challenges that our location as a marginalized and relatively underdeveloped region presents, especially for student communities who hail from rural and low-income family backgrounds, our college have dedicatedly been able to set a benchmark and maintain a high standard in nurturing matured, kind-hearted, creative and intelligent adults, who understand the value of their education and the significance of contributing back to society in a positive and transformative manner. We commit to leave no student behind and no stone unturned in helping them reach their full potential and relaize their dreams.

Believing that ‘teaching’ is one of the highest callings that leaves lasting imprints in a person’s life, our college is equally committed to building the capacities of our teaching staff. Our infrastructure has witnessed a growth from basic facilities in its initial years to now state-of-the-art facilities, all of which is designed and developed to bring out the best that a teacher can offer. Our goal is to ensure that the standards of academic excellence and meaningful contribution is rigorously met in a consistent manner.

Every new staff and students who join our Rayburn family is challenged and encouraged to contribute towards our vision and aspiration in their own unique ways, and mentored to rise to the call to serve our nation and humanity in a meaningful and transformative way.
