NESEED Skill Development Training

Rayburn College has partnered with NESEED Foundation from the year 2021 onwards to offer a variety of soft and hard skills training courses which are deemed necessary for the development of the students’ skills and ability, and to enhance their knowledge in various trades, and strengthen their capacity for the modern industry.

These trainings focus on developing the students’ skills in trades of their interests for them to use either as a means for employability or to startup their own business as an entrepreneur. The initiative is aimed at empowering the youth with adequate skill sets, equip them with market-relevant skills and boost their chances of getting employment in various sectors of the economy.

These trainings are offered as a certified course and are taught as part of the curriculum in the college. The training offered and certificate received has helped students boost their confidence and their careers. Some of the skill training includes Assistant Electrician, Construction, Painting & Decoration (CPD), Mushroom Grower, Small Poultry Farmer, and Hair Specialist etc.

The College believes that given the right opportunities and training, even the socially and economically excluded youth from the marginalized sections of society can realize their full potential and contribute towards the positive transformation of their society and the nation at large.
