On 15th February 2025, 3rd Semester UG Geography Department, conducted a field visit to the Lanva River to examine its transformation from the youthful to mature stage. Observations highlighted distinct characteristics such as steep gradients and rapid erosion in the youthful stage, while the mature stage featured gentler slopes, wider channels, and increased deposition. This study provided valuable insights into the river’s geomorphological development and its implications for water resource management.
