1st Hangeul Day Celebration
On the 9th of October, 2024, Rayburn College, in collaboration with the King Sejong Institute, celebrated the 1st Hangeul Day. This event marked the celebration of the Korean alphabet, Hangeul, and was a significant occasion to honor Korean culture and language.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the Korean food stall, where attendees had the opportunity to taste traditional Korean dishes. Dishes like kimchi and bibimbap, were served, offering everyone a delightful glimpse into Korean cuisine.
Another prominent feature was the display of hanbok, the traditional Korean dress. Students and faculty members were invited to try on the colorful and elegant hanbok, immersing themselves in a unique cultural experience. This segment added a visual charm to the event, as many took photos while wearing the dress.
The collaboration with the King Sejong Institute ensured the event was both educational and enjoyable, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
